Norma Jean Carothers Petty

83, of Avon, passed away on March 5, 2018.  She was born on June 14, 1934 to the late Earl and Jeanette Carothers.  She had worked for Goodwill Industries for 25 years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Petty and sisters, Janet Linthicum and Bertha Martin.  She is survived by her children, Debra (Brad) Oliver, Brian Petty, Michael (Lisa) Petty, Jeffrey (Lori) Petty, Eric (Faye) Petty, Scott (Jennifer) Petty, Lorrie (Kevin) Petty Jordan and Michelle (Kirk) Petty; siblings, Patricia Barber, Diane Hammond, Earl B. Carothers II and Donna Blakely; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be Friday, March 9, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Service will be Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
