Norine Genevieve (Muckway) Clark

December 28, 1956 — January 18, 2022

Carmel, Indiana

Norine Genevieve (Muckway) Clark passed on to Heaven surrounded by her loving husband, children, and family at home January 18, 2022, after a long chronic illness, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP).

Norine was born in Cincinnati Ohio on December 28, 1956, to Marvin and Helen (Bondick) Muckway, who preceded her in death.  She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Barry E. Clark, whom she married September 15, 1979 at Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in Michigan City, Indiana.

She is also survived by her son, Nathaniel (Casey) Clark, daughter Kaitlin (Kristopher Dominique) Buenavides, granddaughters Olivia Clark, Amaya Buenavides, in addition to her siblings Marianne Muckway, Ruth (Phillip) Lambrecht, Michael (Tamara) Muckway, Tina (Donald) Cooley, Mark (James R. Robertson) Muckway and James T. Muckway, as well as many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and many cousins.

Norine graduated from Issac C. Elston high school in Michigan City, IN in 1975 and went on to graduate from Ball State University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections.  She worked several years in the wire industry holding several positions in sales and marketing.  Later, she turned her focus to the classroom as a special needs tutor and long-term substitute.

Norine’s true passion in her ever-loving, ever-giving nature was her family.  She was a dedicated room mother, brownie leader, cheerleading assistant and was the “Mother Ship” of her family.  She was the one steering and arranging all of them in her constant selfless nature.  Her immense talent, creativity, ingenuity in everything that she did or established for her family was always evident and apparent.  She never met a stranger and made everyone she encountered feel special.

She was a member most recently of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Carmel, Indiana.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10655 Haverstick Rd, Carmel, IN 46033.  Family may call from 9:30 a.m. until the start of Mass.  Interment to follow in Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery.
