Noel O. Simmons

Noel O. Simmons, 88 of Indianapolis was born January 20, 1927 and passed away on November 14, 2015. He was born in Marion, IN to George H. and Leona Wiles Simmons who precede him in death. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Simmons and daughter, Linda White. Surviving to cherish his memory are son Lawrence (Wendy) Simmons, brother Mark Simmons and grandchildren, Rodney White, Bradley White, Monique Simmons, Candace Simmons and Noel Simmons. He served in the US Army during WWII and Korea. Noel was a member of Burge Terrace Baptist Church since May 3, 1981. He was Mail Carrier for the US Mail for 42 years. Friends may call from 4-7 PM Friday, November 20, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Saturday at the Funeral Center. Interment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery. Contributions may be made in his name to Burge Terrace Baptist Church.
