NOBLE J. EVANS son of Essie Mae Watson and Jerry Evans, was born on August 26, 1948 in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Noble has 4 children. He was united in wedlock to Ula Evans.
Noble did two tours in Vitenam with the Army as a sharp shooter. Noble was a Greyhound bus driver for about 25 years, two of the years he held the position of Transit Union VP of Region 3.
He loved to cook and entertain, If he wasn’t feeding you he was making you laugh. He loved to BBQ and make homemade vanilla ice cream. He loved to sing and dance and be the life of the party. He loved to travel and go to the casino’s trying to hit that Jackpot. Noble enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle when he had it.
Noble had a love for cars, we used to tease him that he had a mini dealership in his driveway. His favorite car was his Bentley he loved when Kawam would come clean and detail it for him.
Noble peacefully entered eternal rest on May 22, 2019 at 4:20 p.m. at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was 70 years of age. He was proceeded in death by his parents, his brother Leo Evans, Noble Watson, and his wife Ula Evans.
He is survived by two sons, Kawam (Natalie) Evans of Indianapolis, Indiana and Darius (Kenyietta) Evans by marriage, Joyce (Keith) Gibson, Fredrick (Tomickca) Robinson, Osa Lee Robinson Tonya Robinson. Twenty-one grandchildren, Natasha and Jamison Evans, Darius Jr., Devonte, Destiny, Christopher, Jalen, DeMyra, Andre, Keyon, Arniyl, Hakeem, Aniysa, Arman I, Aisha, Terrez, Brittney, Anthony, Blair, Davion, Janiah and 15 great grandchildren. Four brothers, Alfred (Marilyn) Evans, Douglas (Bessie) Evans, Jerome Evans, Joe (Delores) Evans; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives, and friends.
