Milous “Newt” Stewart, 81 of Indianapolis, IN passed away January 26, 2021. He was born on June 22, 1939 in Houston, Alabama to the late Milous P. and Georgia (Burdich) Stewart. Newt retired as a Baker from Kroger’s after a 28-year career with them. He loved spending time with his family and very much enjoyed fishing. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him and loved him. Newt is survived by his children, James Stewart, Teresa Stewart, grandchildren, Brandy, Reda, Josh, Christopher, Steve, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, with one on the way, his significant other, Mary Rowe and numerous members of his extended family. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Neleva June Stewart, and his sons, Louis Stewart and Wallace Stewart. Services and visitation will be private due to the pandemic and he will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery.
