Newell G. Achenbach

Newell G. Achenbach, 90, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018. Newell was born in Atlanta, Indiana on July 17, 1927 to the late Omar Ora and Nellie (Hartley) Achenbach.
Newell was a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed watching Western movies and Andy Griffith. More than anything he loved his family.
Newell leaves behind his beloved wife, Edna (Wilson) Achenbach, along with children Cathy, Mark, Clay, Lisa, and Rhonda. He also leaves behind his beloved Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.
Newell was preceded in death by his parents Omar and Nellie Achenbach and his daughter Beverly.
The Funeral service will be held, Wednesday, April 25 at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East (10722 E. Washington Street) at 2:00pm. There will also be a Visitation starting at 12:00 noon.
