Neva Jean (Fenner) Lyon Rhyne

Neva Jean (Fenner) Lyon Rhyne passed away unexpectedly in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on September 28, 2020 at the age of 61. Neva was born in Indianapolis, IN on March 27, 1959 to parents, Dale C. and Marjorie Eva (Guernsey) Fenner. She was a graduate of Northwest High School. Following graduation, Neva worked as a home engineer. She had two children, Melissa and Matthew Lyon.

Neva loved her children, enjoyed knitting, doing puzzles of all kinds and spending time with her community. She had a love of animals, gardening, and had traveled across most

of the United States. But most of all, she was passionate about bettering herself despite facing so many personal challenges and met everyone with kindness in her heart.

Neva was preceded in death by her parent, Marjorie Fenner and daughter, Melissa Lyon.

She is survived by her son, Matthew Lyon; brothers, Clyde Fenner, David Fenner, and Norman Fenner; sister, Ellen Smith; and her father Dale C. R. Fenner.

Per her wishes, Neva was cremated. Her cremated remains will be laid to rest with her daughter, Melissa at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 3pm. The City of Fishers is mandating that all gatherings (including funerals) be limited to 10 people indoors and 20 people outdoors (including graveside services). Neva will be deeply missed by those of us that knew her and will be remembered with love.
