Nell Marie Lines

Nell Marie Kinzel Lines (95) Jan 3, 1929 – December 27,2024 – Nell Marie was raised by her maternal grandparents and lived her life in the home that her grandfather built. Nell Marie received her Bachelor of Science Degree (1951) and Master of Science Degree (1957) from Butler University and went on to teach first & second grades at Indianapolis Public School #15 for 40 years, retiring in 1991. 

Nell was an active member of Brookville Road Community Church and loved to take bike rides and road trips with her friends. She also had a special love of working in her yard keeping it beautiful. 

She is survived by her nephew, Joslin Stewart and niece, Arin Cole and great nieces and nephews, Ashlen Echols, Taylor Cole & Bryce Cole. 

She was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Ann Stewart, niece, Britten Echols and her great niece, Cameron Echols. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan - Washington Park East (10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229) from 10 am - 11 am with funeral services to follow at 11 am. Burial will take place at Washington Park East Cemetery following services.
