Napoleon (Nappy) Ubertini, 89 of Noblesville, IN formerly of Queens, New York, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 18, 2020. Nappy was born September 12, 1930 in San Sebastiano dei Marsi, Italy to the late Rinaldo and Maddalena Ubertini arriving in the United States through Elis Island in 1933. A veteran who served during the Korean War, he was a Corporal in the United States Army.
Nappy worked for the Dow Chemical for over 40 years, retiring in 1995 as Vice President of Manufacturing.
Family and friends are invited to gather from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Thursday, August 20 at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel. A graveside service will take place Thursday, August 20 at 1:30 pm at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Indianapolis.
Married August 25, 1956, Nappy is survived by his wife of almost 64 years, Matilda (Millie), nee Carbis; children, Donna M. (husband, Robert Rieg) DiNorcia-Rieg, Christine A. (husband, Robert) DiDonato, Robert A. (wife, Jami Board) Ubertini; grandchildren, Bryan DiNorcia, Anthony DiDonato and Emily DiDonato.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
