Nancy Sue Orebaugh

82, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 4, 2016. Nancy was born on August 18, 1934 in Muncie, IN to the late George P. Ford Sr. and Oletha (Stokes) Ford. Nancy worked for Diamond Chain for 30 years before retiring. She was also a member of the Indian Creek Christian Church, Red Hat Society, Euchre Club, Silent Senior Hoosiers, and The Greater Indianapolis Deaf Club and was an avid Indianapolis Colts Fan! She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William P. Orebaugh Jr., two sisters Barbara Ford, Victoria Harmon and a brother George P. Ford Jr. She is survived by her daughters Cathy (Gary) Covey, June (Bryan) Monroe, Sandy (Brian) Gann, a sister Joan Lafoon, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday from 11am until the time of services at 7:00pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Floral Park. Inurnment will be in Floral Park Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for memorial contributions to be made in Nancy’s memory to the Silent Senior Hoosiers, 7405 B Chapel Villas Lane, Indianapolis, IN 46214, Attn: Susan Hocker.
