Nancy Lynn Beneker, 66, of Mooresville, Indiana passed away suddenly on August 8, 2020. She was born December 13, 1953 in Franklin, Indiana to Harold and Elizabeth Harding.
Nancy was a lifetime Indiana resident and proud graduate of the class of 1972 at Center Grove. She completed her post secondary education at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. She dutifully worked as a paralegal for 42 years. She met her husband, Neil, in 2008. The pair hit it off and were married on May 15, 2008. Nancy loved the outdoors, watching wildlife, and loved her flower gardens. She was a very active member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Mooresville, Indiana where she was always serving both the church and surrounding community. She was especially devoted to the missions programs, the church choir, as well as the children of the church; she was a teacher at the school for over a decade. Nancy also loved traveling to The Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee where her family owns a cabin. She was a strong woman and will be remembered for her kindness, intelligence, and how well she loved her family. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all she met. Her passing leaves an empty space in the hearts of those who were blessed enough to meet her; peace can be found in knowing she loved the Lord and we will see her again one day.
She is preceded in death by her father, Harold Harding. Surviving to carry on her legacy are husband, Neil Beneker; mother, Elizabeth Harding; daughter, Michelle (Matt) Huntsman; grandchildren, Nathan, Ben, and Madison; as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
