Nancy Karres

Greenwood, Indiana – Nancy Karres, 68, passed away on February 29, 2024, after being comforted by family and friends. Nancy was born to George & Sena (Christensen) Wortman on June 27, 1955, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

 Nancy worked at Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield for over thirty years, retiring as a claim’s processor.

 Nancy enjoyed reading and watching her shows, especially Home and Garden Television or The Food Network. More than anything else, Nancy was a beloved mother and grandmother. She found the most joy in spoiling her grandchildren and wanted to spend every moment she could with them. 

 In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Wortman.

 Nancy is survived by her children, Michelle Miller (Dean), Anthony J. Karres; her siblings Tom Wortman (Sharon), and Robert Wortman; beloved grandchildren Brian, Lelynne, Elijah, Lila, Kassie, and Bridgett.
