Nancy Jane Wilson

Nancy Jane (Cooper) Wilson was born on April 8, 1935 to George and Alcie Cooper in Ventura, California.  She was raised in Zionsville, Indiana.  She graduated from Zionsville High School in 1953. She was employed at Shell Oil, Eagle Elementary and Rock Island.  She was a member of the Zionsville Christian Church and PSI IOTA XI.

She married Leon Wilson August 26, 1956.  They were married for 58 years. He preceded her in death. She had one daughter, Kathy Ann. She is survived by her granddaughter Jamie Lecklitner (Andrew). Other survivors include nephew, Doug Wilson, niece Amy (Jim & Stacy) Hahn, nephew Gregg (Angie, Abby & Kate) Wilson, goddaughter Tracey Scott and her dog, Maggie.

She enjoyed baking, cooking, shopping, reading, antiques and flowers. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. She never knew a stranger and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Private services will be held. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
