Myrtle Lois (Lyles) Meador, 91 years of age was born March 12, 1932, in Westmoreland, Sumner County, Tennessee, to the late Gerald Winchester Lyles and Hattie Mae (Cliburn) Lyles.
She passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Franciscan Health Hospital. She joins in death with her siblings TJ (Mary) Lyles, Raymond Wesley (Patti) Lyles, Chester Ray Lyles, Willie Joe (Betty) Lyles, Danny Lee Lyle, and Joyce Dean Meador. She is survived by sister Annie Mae Lyles of Bradenton, Florida and sisters-in-law Era Mae Lyles and Virginia Ann Lyles, of Westmoreland, Tennessee.
Myrtle married the late James Everett Meador on October 20, 1956, and they made their home in Indianapolis, Indiana where they raised their children. Roy Dean (Deb) Carver of New Whiteland, Indiana, Linda Gail (Conan) Gill of Nashville, Indiana, Timmie Ray Meador of Indianapolis, Indiana, Edward Randall Meador, deceased and Margaret Meador, deceased.
Together they loved and shared 10 Grandchildren, Roy (Julia) Carver, Jr., Brian Carver, Stacie (Humberto) Rosero, Jason (Elizabeth) Meador, Jeff Hoskins, Trina Likens (deceased), Melonie Charlotte, Lisa Robinson, Crystal Burge, Michelle (Matthew) Halcomb. 19 Great-Grandchildren and 17 Great Great-Grandchildren.
To celebrate her life the family invites you to join them on Wednesday August 16, 2023, from 10:00am -12:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Floral Park to reminisce, share memories and stories with them about Myrtle. There will be no service, at her request, and she will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana at 2:00pm.
