Myron G. "Mike" Winch

Myron G. “Mike” Winch, 82 of Camby, IN passed away unexpectedly July 26, 2020. He was born July 19, 1938 in Egan, Illinois to the late Bertus and Klasina (Williams) Winch. Mike worked in the Carpet and Tile industry as a Carpet Cutter retiring in 2005. He was a member of the First Assembly of God and loved to spend time with his family and go shopping with his wife. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Mike is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis (Shipp) Winch, children, Becky Rice of Forreston, Illinois, Beverly Winch of Beloit, Wisconsin, Sandra Lucas of Shelton, Washington, Michael (Jennifer) Winch of Rochelle, Illinois, step-daughter, Angela New of Camby, Indiana, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and his sister, Henrietta Herren of Shannon, Illinois. Besides his parents Mike is preceded in death by his brothers, Alfred and Walter Winch, son-in-law, Richard Rice and a grandson, A.J. Stahl. A Funeral Service will be at 5 PM Friday, July 31, 2020 at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with visitation 3-5 PM. The family request’s in lieu of flowers the memorial gifts may be directed to the American Heart Association. Due to current local guidelines for the Covid-19 pandemic, facial coverings, social distancing, and a total not to exceed 50 people is mandated for us to follow at this time at the Funeral Center.
