Murray F. Mcburnie

Murray F. McBurnie, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on his 79^th birthday, June 21, 2022.  Murray was born in Indianapolis, IN on June 21, 1943, to parents, Robert and Ina L. (Julian) McBurnie.  He retired from Ford Motor Company as a Maintenance Supervisor, where he worked for 35 years.  Murray was a member of the Irvington Masonic Lodge #666 and enjoyed traveling, especially to Canada and the Florida Keys, and was an avid fisherman.

Murray was preceded in death by his wife, Retta Darlene (McAllister) McBurnie.  He is survived by his children, Melinda Holcomb (John), Melissa Hoskins (Rick), Lynne Steffus (Jim), Cheryl McMorris and Kevin Sedan; sister, Sheila Stewart (Jim) and brother, Robert McBurnie (Vicky); as well as many other loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and beloved friends.

Visitation will be held from 10am until 12:30pm on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East (10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis), where funeral services will immediately follow beginning at 12:30pm.  Entombment will follow services in Washington Park East Cemetery.
