Morris Toney

Morris D. Toney, 66, of Mooresville passed away on May 10th, 2022. Morris was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 14th, 1955 to the late Charles and Dora Toney.

Morris retired after 25 years of service at Crossroads Dairy. He loved his kids and grandkids. Morris lived full throttle riding his Harley or dropping a line in his favorite fishing hole. In his retirement years, he enjoyed collecting antiques and relaxing with his feline companions, Smoky and Goldie.

Morris will be missed sorely by all the lives he has touched.

He is survived by his daughters, Shelley Bradshaw and Lacey Chastain; sons, Travis (Kelly) and Jeremy (Reanna); 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Nancy and Geraldine; brother, Charles Junior.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dora, father, Charles, brothers, Eugene, Jesse, and Brian.

A visitation will be held on Monday May 16th 2022 at Flanner Buchanan—Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington St. from 12-2PM. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 2PM. Morris will be laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery
