Morris Moore Jr., 84, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 22, 2019.
Morris was born on August 27, 1934 in Indianapolis to the late Goldie and Morris Moore Sr. After graduating high school, he honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was a machinist by trade and retired from General Motors in 1990. Morris loved to stay busy and enjoyed being outdoors going fishing, working in the yard, he took pride in his garden and the tomatoes he grew, and loved to attend his grandkids sporting events. He was caring and devoted to his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves behind his wife of over 64 years, Norma J. Moore; daughters, Marci (Todd) Kreigh and Marla (Gary) Lyons; grandchildren, Lauren Kreigh, Jacob Blackburn (Layla Truman), Samuel Kreigh (Casey Bennett), Caleb Blackburn, and Nolan Kreigh; great-grandchildren, Addisyn Kreigh and Charlotte Blackburn; and siblings, Marlene (Ernest) Buddenburg, Edward (Sandy) Shannon, and Patti Viers. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends and family are invited to gather from 5:00-8:00pm on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Flanner Buchanan- Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington Street. A funeral service will take place 10:00am on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the funeral center.
