Morris Lee Wheeler

Morris Lee Wheeler, aged 68, passed away on May 4th, 2020. He was born on October 22, 1951 in Kearney, Nebraska. He grew up in Indianapolis, and attended Sacred Heart grade school. He graduated from Avon High School in 1969 where he played football. After high school he went to work in construction.

Morris was married to the love of his life, Dawn, for 49 glorious years. He was an active member of St. Gabriel Parish. Morris also was an avid fisherman, spending his time doing all things related to bass fishing. He loved to travel, and see new things. Morris will be missed by all who were graced to know him.

Morris was preceded in death by his parents William E. and Elizabeth, and also by his infant son Robin.

Surviving to cherish Morris’ memory is his wife, Dawn, and two sons Shane and Brent.

A Memorial Mass for Morris will be celebrated at a later date.
