Mitchell Keith Axton

Mitchell Keith Axton, 59, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018.

He was born on November 9, 1958 in Evansville, IN to Terry Mitchell Axton and Janice Marlene (Morris) Cain.  He worked as an electrician for Dow Agroscience, St. Vincent Hospital and was currently employed with IU Health.  Mitch was a talented handyman; but his greatest passion was his music.  He loved to play the guitar and listen to jazz and blues music.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Patricia Anne (Bundy) Axton; daughter, Amy Janice Axton; step-daughter, Michelle Leigh (Jon) Glover; grandchildren, Izaac, Amelia, Wesley, Sidney; 2 step-grandchildren, Ashlynn and Josiah.  Mitchell is also survived by his mother; and siblings, Rocky Axton, Teresa (Mike) Lona, Kent (Rhonda) Axton; and 8 nephews.
