Miss Sonia Agboalu

In loving memory of Sonia Agboalu, who passed away on December 19th, 2024. Born on May 18th, 2011, in Lagos, Nigeria, to Mr. and Mrs. Femi Agboalu, Sonia was the youngest of five children. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will always be remembered for her beautiful smile. She was a beacon of light and joy to everyone who knew her. Her bright smile and infectious laughter could light up any room.

 She was a beloved daughter, sister, cousin and friend, and her compassionate heart touched the lives of many. Sonia had a passion for drawing, painting, literally loved everything about art, singing, dancing, making TikToks, watching her favorite shows. Her kindness, creativity, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

 Sonia was raised to know Christ from an early age, she was an active member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Potter’s House in Lagos, Nigeria, within the children's department. After relocating to the United States, she continued her spiritual journey at the Redeemed Christian Church of God Solution Center, also in the children's department.

 Sonia was a 7th grader at Lynhurst 7th and 8th Grade Center. Her presence brought joy and warmth to all who knew her, and she will be profoundly missed.

 Sonia leaves behind cherished memories with her four siblings, Anita, Naomi, Nancy, and Princewill Agboalu, as well as her parents, Blessing and Femi Agboalu. Also, her extended family who loved her so dearly, Dolcey Chinda (Grandmother), Mercy Aman (Aunt), Jane Beaman (Aunt), Ann Chinda (Aunt), Linda Ndangoh (Aunt), George Chinda (Uncle), Paul Chinda (Uncle), Wilson Chinda (Uncle), James Chinda (Uncle), Ebenezer Chinda (Uncle), and many cousins who will miss her cheerful spirit everyday; Deborah Chinda, Andrea Chinda, Peter Chinda, Sophia Chinda, Joshua Aman, Jordan Aman, John Aman, Noah Chinda, Sydney Chinda, Daniel Beaman, Ava Beaman, Gift Chinda, Jacob Sillery, Wilson Chinda 3rd, Alexander Chinda, Nancy Chinda, Alexander Lombardi, Eva Chinda, Chandler Chinda, James Chinda Jr, Nathan Chinda, Princewill Chinda 2nd, Tia Ndangoh, Lia Ndangoh, Carl Ndangoh Jr, Joel Alabi, Samuel Alabi, Jasmin Alabi, Dele Ojo, Emmanuel Ojo; as well as many other extended family members and friends.
