Mina Ann Antonopoulos
August 15, 1957 – March 26, 2021
Mina Ann Antonopoulos, age 63, passed away peacefully March 26, 2021. She was born August 15, 1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Mimis and Elaine Antonopoulos.
Mina was a 1977 graduate of Ben Davis High School. She worked her entire career in the radiology department at Methodist Hospital, retiring after 38 years.
She was a life-long member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral where her love of children was demonstrated as a Sunday School teacher. Mina enjoyed volunteering at the annual Holy Trinity Greek Food Festival, where she happily greeted everyone at the entrance. For many years she was active in the Daughters of Penelope. Mina especially enjoyed spending time with her nephew and niece.
Her life was a living example of one of her favorite Bible verses, Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
She was preceded in death by her father, Mimis Antonopoulos. Mina is survived by her mother Elaine Antonopoulos, brother Anthony (Gena), nephew Alexander, and niece Nicolette.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel, 325 E Carmel Dr, Carmel, IN 46032, from 5-8 pm with a Trisagion Service at 7:30pm. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 3500 West 106th Street, Carmel, Indiana, from 10-11am, followed by the funeral service at 11am. Burial service immediately following at Crown Hill Cemetery.
