Michael Scott Smith

Michael S. Smith (72) Bloomfield, IN

Michael Scott Smith, of Bloomfield Indiana, was called home to God on June
25, 2021.   Mike was born to Richard and Dorothy (Underwood) Smith of
Mishawaka, Indiana and a graduate of John Adams High School in South Bend
and a graduate of Ivy Tech.

Mike was a 20 year employee of Damar Services, a DNR firearms instructor,
a gunsmith, a living historian, a member of the Indian Creek Lions Club of
Kirksville, Indiana.  His family was his life.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Dorothy, his
infant brother Richard, his brother Gary, and his son Gregory James.

He is survived by his wife Cathleen (Graham), his sister Connie Duffey
(Patrick), his daughter Kristen Gephart (Erich), and his sons Scott (Heidi)
and Keith (Stacy).  Mike has 9 grandchildren, many step-children,
step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren of the Graham and Rueter
families.  Also, an aunt, many nieces, nephews, and cousins are survived.

The family invites you to join them for Visitation, Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 9am to 11am with
Services following at Flanner Buchanan – Speedway at 2950 High
School Road, Speedway Indiana.
