Michael Ray Trackwell

Michael Ray Trackwell was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on June 15, 1958 and died on January 21, 2019. Mike married Sandy Woodrum on June 27, 1987. He had three beautiful daughters and three amazing grandchildren. He was a very big family man who loved with his whole heart. He was the second oldest of five children. His love for his siblings was very strong. He always made sure they were taken care of.

Mike worked at Danny’s as a cook for most of his adult life. He had a passion for cooking. He could always find joy in cooking for family and friends. Other interests he had were fishing, taking trips to the beach, watching Colts football, and watching his youngest daughter play softball. Every Sunday he was either at the softball field, watching football, or going to church. God played a huge role in his life. He loved going to church anytime he got a chance. He was a loving and caring man who always had a smile on his face. His love was contagious to anyone around him. He was one amazing husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sandy Trackwell; children, Holly (Mike) Butler, Danielle (Jon) Russell, and McKenzie; brothers, Jim (Cheryl) Trackwell, Ron (Maria) Trackwell, and sister Tammy (Tommy) Trackwell; step-brothers, Charley, Jeff, Jim; step-sisters, Stephanie and Sherri; three wonderful grandchildren, Michael, Emma, and Abigail; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by four amazing, lifelong friends, Larry, John, James, Kevin; and many loving extended family members and friends. Mike is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Montgomery; father, James Trackwell; step-father, James Montgomery; and sister, Debbie Shirels.
