Michael Joseph Gallaway

Michael Joseph Gallaway, 64, Indianapolis, passed away October 15, 2021. He was born in Garden City, MI to Patrick Joseph and Janice Marie (Pearl) Gallaway. Mike graduated from Lawrence Central High School in 1975 before going on to earn his associate degree in biomedical technology from IUPUI-Purdue School of Engineering and Technology in 1993 and his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering in 1995. He started working in the IT field with CyberMetrix in 1994 through 1998 and continued his career with Interactive Intelligence, which became Genesys, and later became Infosys, from 1998 until his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Michelle, children, Shannon (Eric) Cronin and Michael (Katie) Gallaway, grandchildren, Charlotte and Eli Cronin, brothers, Greg, Jim, and Sean Gallaway, and sister, Colleen Stalnaker Gallaway.

Visitation will be held Thursday at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis from 11am to 2pm. Funeral services will begin there at 2pm. Online condolences may be shared at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
