Michael Jason Bombard, Sr.

Michael Jason Bombard Sr., 53, Westfield, passed away January 25, 2016. He was born May 27, 1962, in Burlington, Vermont, the son of Bernard “Butch” and Susan Jane (Zeno) Bombard. He married Nikola Sabelhaus on February 12, 2015.

Mike graduated from Ben Davis High School and later received his associate’s degree from Lincoln Tech. He proudly served in the United States Army as a MP and recruiter. He enjoyed working for Superior Auto Works for the past two years. He was passionate about running and working out, and he was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Nikola Sabelhaus Bombard; three children, Andrea (Josh) Mann, Michael (Cinnamon) Bombard Jr., and Jonathan (Brittany) Bombard; step-daughter, Veronica West; father, Butch (Shirley) Bombard; nine grandchildren, Paige, Skylar, Maddie, Carmen, Lindsey, Jade, Laken, Benjamin, and Jordan Michael; three siblings, Dave (Colleen) Bombard, Lisa (Ben) Bruce, and Linda (Tim) Perry; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in passing by his mother, Susan Jane Bombard in 1985.

Services will be 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Flanner and Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park, 4180 Westfield Road. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
