Michael James Compton Jr., 27, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 13th, 2021. He was born in Indianapolis to Michael Compton Sr. and Jennifer (Morgan) Compton on October 31st, 1993.
Michael was a loving man, who would do anything for his daughter, family, and friends. He had a deep love for the Lord and studied the Scripture daily.
Michael loved doing many things, but spending time with his daughter Adaleigh, was by far his favorite thing in the world. He taught her to play softball, ride a bicycle, playing video games, reading her bedtime stories and Bible verses, and above all loved taking her to church with him.
Michael recently started playing golf. He told his mom, “I’m not very good at it, but I like it.” The best part he liked was the fellowship he had with Pastor Joel while playing golf. Michael loved all sports and was good at any sport he put his mind and time to.
Lately, one of Michael’s favorite simple pleasures was being in the backyard, building bonfires and sitting around with his daughter, dogs, and his mom.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Robert R. Compton Sr, grandmothers Patricia Compton and Judith A. Morgan, and uncle Kevin Sean Compton.
He is survived by his daughter Adaleigh Kay Compton, father Michael Compton Sr., mother Jennifer Compton, half-sister Britanee Stivers, grandfather Billy W. Morgan, and many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him dearly.
