Michael Fahey, 76, Carmel, also formerly of Greenwood and Indianapolis, passed away on November 20, 2017. He was born September 17, 1941, in Vincennes, the son of the late Curtis and Ellen (Mulheron) Fahey.
Michael honorably served in the Indiana National Guard from 1964 until 1969. He retired from Rolls Royce formerly known as General Motors’ Allison Gas Turbine Division.
He was preceded in passing by his parents; three brothers, Patrick Fahey, Timothy Fahey, Terry Fahey; and two sisters, Mary Jo (Fahey) Stevenson and Shelia (Fahey) Murphy.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Joyce Fahey; two sons, Mark and Jill (Bradshaw) Fahey and David and Megan (Eckart) Fahey; five grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Mitchell, Sophia, and Jack; two brothers, Dennis Fahey and Kevin Fahey; two sisters, Eileen (Fahey) McFadden and Kathleen Fahey; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will take place on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Flanner Buchanan – Carmel, 325 E. Carmel Drive from 2:00 PM-6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, November 27, 2017 at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 17102 Spring Mill Road, Westfield, IN at 11:00 AM.
