Mi-Li Wang

Carmel, Indiana

Mi-li Wang of Carmel, Indiana passed away on January 30, 2022 at the age of 83.

She was born June 8, 1938 in Taipei, Taiwan to the late Chang Shu-Quan and Chang Shu.

Mi-li Wang immigrated to the United States and completed her graduate studies in social work. She subsequently pursued a career in children’s social services. Later she joined her husband in starting their own restaurant business which they operated for many years before retiring to become more involved their grandchildren.

She is survived by her son I-wen Wang and significant other Emily Xue-qi Song and daughter Chao-wen and husband Domingo Anthony Lee. Additionally she is also survived by grandchildren Nathan and Kalysta Lee who have shared many memories together with her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wei-ming Wang.

Mi-li Wang’s Celebration of Life will be Friday, February 4th. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 pm at Our Lady of Peace Chapel, 9001 Haverstick Road, Indianapolis with Funeral Services beginning at 2 PM.  She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery following the service.
