Meredith Amelia Lord

Meredith Amelia Lord, 33, of New Palestine, fell asleep and woke up in Heaven on January 10, 2022.

She was born in Lafayette, Indiana to Stephen and Lorri Lord on February 18, 1988. Meredith accomplished more in her 33 years than most people do in their lifetime. She graduated on the Dean’s List from Indiana University Kelley School of Business. She was a successful business owner at the age of 26. Meredith purchased HeLP Logistics in 2014 and put her management style in play forming her HeLP “family”, as she called it.

Meredith was always trying to make a difference in the world. She supported the Big Brother/Big Sister program and had a little sister whom she loved spending time with for over six years. Her music passions were the Beatle and Jack White, and she loved watching documentaries.

She was an adventurer; travelling the world Meredith visited five continents. Croatia and Galapagos Islands were her favorites Sanibel Island, Florida, was her family’s annual vacation destination that she always treasured, and she was looking forward to taking her niece, Charlotte, for her first visit this May. Meredith’s second home was Manchester, England. She had many friends there and was looking forward to returning to spend more time there once travel restrictions had been lifted.

Mere Bear will be missed by the many people whose lives she touched. Her compassion and kindness to everyone she met is her legacy.

She is survived by her parents: Stephen and Lorri Lord; her sister, Natalee Lord, her brother, Fritz (Taylor) Lord; her niece, Charlotte Lord; and her grandmother, Eileen Joseph. Meredith is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Carl Joseph; and grandparents, Larry and Martha Lord.

She is always in our hearts until we meet again.

A Celebration of Life for Meredith will be held at a later date.
