Marybelle B. Jewett

Marybelle “Bram” B. Jewett at the age of 95 passed away November 11^th surrounded by her family. Private Services will be at Meridian Street United Methodist Church in the Chapel, 5500 N. Meridian Street on Monday November 19^th at 10:00 AM followed by light refreshments in the parlor. She is survived by her beloved husband of 72 years, John R. Jewett; their children, John R. Jewett, Jr. (Perry) and Jane B. Jewett; her grandchildren, Lauren J. Prifogle (Kyle), John R. Jewett III (Charlene), and Charles W. Jewett; a great granddaughter, Emerson Grace Prifogle, and her beloved niece, Mary Day K. Musgrave.

Mrs. Jewett was born in Decatur Illinois on May 23, 1923, but grew up in St. Louis where she had many lifelong friends. She graduated magna cum laude from DePauw University. Bram was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She was a past member of the Junior League and Stansfield Circle. Bram and her husband were long time members of Meridian Street United Methodist Church and former members of Meridian Hills Country Club.
