Mary Francis Yurasko

Mary Francis Yurasko, a loving mother, grandmother, and devoted matriarch, was born on January 16, 1939, in Indianapolis. She graced this world with her presence for 85 years, before passing away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on December 16, 2024, in Hilliard, Ohio.

 Mary was a beacon of love and care, whose nurturing spirit was felt by all around her. Her home was always filled with the warm aromas of home-cooked meals, as she would lovingly prepare anything her children desired—even if it wasn't a meal she particularly enjoyed. Her family was her pride, and she took immense joy in being present for them in every way.

 Described as a devoted Catholic, Mary found strength and solace in her faith. She was not only a guiding light in her children's lives but also a source of wisdom and comfort to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her beautiful family was truly her proudest accomplishment, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

 A woman of vibrant personality, Mary loved the color pink, embodied joy in her pursuits, and brought that energy to her hobbies including golf and traveling. She delighted in taking cruises, each trip a new adventure filled with memorable experiences and cherished laughter.

 Mary's legacy is also eternally intertwined with the love she shared with her husband, Richard "Dick" Yurasko, with whom she spent over 40 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they created a bond that will never be forgotten. Sadly, her sweet stepdaughter Sherri who passed away before her held a special place in her heart.

 Mary is survived by her beloved children Dale Turpin, Diana Casassa, Dominic Turpin, Deborah Albertson, Dana Wise, cherished grandchildren, and treasured great-grandchildren, all of whom will continue to honor her legacy through the love and memories of time spent with her.

 Visitation will be held at St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church in Indianapolis, Indiana, on December 27, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a Mass celebrating her beautiful life at 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

 Mary Francis Yurasko possessed an extraordinary spirit and left behind an unyielding legacy of love. As we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate a life lived joyfully and fully, forever etched in our hearts.
