Mary Wayne Aldridge, 76, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020, at Otterbein Franklin Senior Life Community in Franklin, IN.  She was born on May 14, 1944, in Albany, KY.

Survivors include three daughters, Tammy L. Fish, Reba “Terri” Berry (Jim), and Tina R. MacLennan (Tony), all of Franklin; nine grandchildren, Christopher M. Fish (Heather), Amber D. Appleby (Kory), Bradley M. Fish, Amanda D. Berry, Jordan C. Fish, Justin C. Fish, Dustin J. Berry, Camden J. MacLennan and Alec D. MacLennan; three great-grandchildren, Emma G. Berry, Kinlee D. Appleby, and Knox A. MacLennan; one step-son, Douglas Aldridge (Roz); one step-daughter, Debbie Ridenour; six step-grandkids, Jeremey Processor, Jamie Horton (Nick), Joey Meadors (Stephanie), Zach Aldridge, Chloe Griffin (Marquise), and Cory Ridenour; and eight step-great grandchildren.

Mary is also survived by three brothers, Houston Groce (Ann), Gary Groce (Linda), and Donald Groce.

She was the daughter of the late Virgil S. Groce and Reba T. Groce.   She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Stephan H. Aldridge and 10 siblings, Margaret Hickman (Glee), Mona Underwood (Frank), Verna Fisher, Sylvia McClure (Jack), Virgil B. Groce, Earl Groce (Cookie), Eddie Groce, Johnny Groce, Joan Ellis, and Roger Paul Groce.

Mary worked for many years at the General Motors Truck and Bus plant in Indianapolis, retiring in 2003.  She had a love for her family, unlike any other and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She also enjoyed playing softball, bowling, attending Friday night bingo, hearing the cha-ching of casino slot machines, gardening and making many trips to the beach.  Mary and her family spent many weekends enjoying the cabin at Cordry Lake.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 30 from 12 to 2 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East with Funeral Services beginning at 2 PM.  She will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
