Mary Ruth Adams

Mary Ruth Adams, 74, of Indianapolis, passed away October 10, 2017. She was born on June 8, 1943 in Westmoreland, Tennessee as the daughter of Carnie and Nell (Fuqua) Hoskins. She married Reed Thomas Adams on October 2, 1967 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Mary enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She also enjoyed spending time on her farm and fixing up the property she purchased.

Mary is survived by her siblings, Frieda (Bobby) Richardson, Jenny (Rick) Chew, Helen Hoskins and Linda Gumm; and many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Angie Adams; and siblings, James Hoskins, Buddy Hoskins, Sam Hoskins, Wayne Hoskins, Danny Hoskins, Shirley Cape and Evelyn Cape.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 11am until 1pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229. A funeral service will follow at 1pm also at the funeral center. Burial will take place at Washington Park East Cemetery.
