She served on several boards for not-for-profits, including Daughters of the American Revolution, AT&T Pioneers Life Member Club, the All-Girls Catholic High School Alumna group called Academy Women, and the Reunion ’66 Catholic high school alum group.

She was a member of Holy Spirit at Geist Catholic Parish, and was a former CCD instructor for several years there, served on the Religious Education Board, and was an early youth leader.
She was an avid reader, an artist, a quilter, and an excellent cook. She loved hosting family and friends at their house and welcomed everyone with a meal at her table. Above all, she enjoyed being a grandmother to her four grandchildren. These four brought her the biggest joys in life, and she loved them beyond words. She loved to travel and see different places. Just this past summer she was able to cross off Acadia National Park from her list of places to visit. She enjoyed crisscrossing the country on road trips and spending time with family and friends while she traveled.
