Mary Evelyn Newberry

Mary Evelyn (Williams) Newberry 86 of Indianapolis, passed away on February 25, 2025. Mary was born in Cleaton, Kentucky on April 11, 1938 to Herbert and Elizabeth Nevelyn (Mayes) Williams. Mary worked as a punch press operator and retired in 1999. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Johnnie Newberry and her grandson, Jake Brown Newberry. Funeral services for Mary will be held on Friday February 28, 2025 at the Flanner Buchanan-Decatur Township Funeral Center with visitation starting at 11 am to 2 pm and the funeral service beginning at 2 pm. Pastor David Gibson will be officiating. Mary is survived by her beloved children, David (Theresa) Newberry and Regina (Donald) Gemmel, her grandchildren, Kastonia Newberry (Adam) Gray, Jeffrey (Emily) Smith, Angela Gemmel, Donnie (Jami) Gemmel, and her great grandchildren, Addison, Kaitlyn, Jonah, Lalani, Destiny, Jaylynn, Sofia, Weston, and Natallia.
