Mary Margaret Moore

Mary Margaret Moore of Indianapolis died on January 25, 2021 at the age of 70.

She was born October 20, 1950 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Gilbert and Maxine Whitaker.

She graduated from Arlington High School in 1968 and pursued a career within bank support until her retirement. She filled this time with volunteering at numerous organizations, bingo and yard sales. Mary will be remembered for her sheer kindness and desire to help others, her classic “Mary” moments to make us laugh, and her generosity to take care of us all.

She is survived by her daughter, Katie Moore; Sisters, Shirley Miles and Susan Smock and many loved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Gilbert Whitaker Jr. and Dale Whitaker and brother-in-law Michael Miles.

The family is holding visitation services at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis on Friday, 2/19/21 from 5-7 pm. Please take into account current restrictions due to coronavirus, including masks requirements.
