Mary Margaret (Gheen) Cangany

Mary Margaret (Gheen) Cangany passed away in her sleep on March 8. She is proceeded in death by her parents, George and Mary (Schlangen) Gheen, her brother Robert E. Gheen, and dear friends Brother Anthony Striet and Mel Loidlt.

Mary is a member at St. Joseph's Church, Indianapolis. She taught 42 years for the schools in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. She was a graduate of Indiana State University and IUPUI, and received her Masters in Education at Marian University. Mary was also a member of St. Peter Claver and the Goldenaires and she visited the homebound for seven with Sister Mary Terance Haag.

She is survived by adopted children Kathy and Dan Farrell and her grandchildren, Holly, Sean, Brian, and John Paul, dear friends Sister Mary Terance Haag, Kay Loidolt, and Rhonda Cawthon, and many other friends. May God grant her eternal rest.
