Mary L. Mccord

Mary L. McCord, 67, of Greenwood, passed away January 16, 2018. She was born on July 6, 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana as the daughter of H. Kenneth and Imogene R. (Kemlo) Webb.

Mary worked for Waffle & Steak Restaurant as a waitress for many years. She loved her customers and the time she spent at the restaurant. Mary was also a caregiver to her mother for several years. She enjoyed taking care of people and spending time with her family and friends.

Mary is survived by her children, Ronald (Kathy) Inman and Audra McCord; sisters, Sylvia VanFossan, Carolyn (Gayle) Johnson and Eva (Rick) Pierce; grandchildren, Alyssa (Mike) McCoy, Adam Inman, Kaitlynn St. John and Zia Staggs; her former husband, Ronald McCord; and many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Inman Sr.; parents, H. Kenneth Webb and Imogene R. Webb; and sister, Sally Sherwood.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 3-7pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 2pm also at the funeral center. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Breast Cancer Foundation. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at the funeral center during the service times.
