Mary "Libby" Elizabeth Jurgensmeyer

Mary “Libby” E. Jurgensmeyer of Westfield IN (formerly of Chesterfield MO) passed away on September 7,2024 at the age of 92. She was born in Williamstown MO on February 13,1932 to parents Charles N. and Julia D. (Martin) Tucker. Libby was a consummate hostess, avid bridge player and loved to travel in her younger years. Libby and her son Jim made the move to Indiana two years ago after the loss of her husband Frank. She loved spending time with her family here.

 Libby married Frank on August 23,1951 and they spent 68 wonderful years together. She is survived by her children Jane (Evans) Wells, James Jurgensmeyer and Joan (Tim) Thieme, grandchildren Libby (Josh) Barker, Julianne (Stephen) Zych, Patrick Thieme and Paige Thieme. Libby had five great grandchildren, two step grandsons, and six great step grandchildren. Libby also is survived by two siblings, Martha Negri and Bill (Judy) Tucker.

 Visitation will be held on Friday, September 13th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church (14598 Oak Ridge Road, Carmel IN 46302) followed immediately by Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.

 Please join us for a Celebration of Life Luncheon for Libby at 12:30 p.m. following the funeral. It will be held at The Maples at Springmill Clubhouse, 17083 Huntley Place, Westfield IN 46074
