Mary Jane Smith,

84, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on July 28, 1938, to the late Robert Buffington and the late Helen Hardy in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mary married Kenneth Smith on June 25, 1957. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her son, George. Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband of 65 years, Kenneth Smith; her children, Kenny, Jr., John, Teresa, David, and Steven; her 8 grandchildren; and her 17 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, from 12pm-2pm at Flanner Buchanan – Floral Park.
