Mary Ellen Blue

Mrs. Mary Ellen (Bayt) Blue 80 of Pittsboro, IN lost her hard fought war with cancer on April 25, 2021. Ellen was born in Indianapolis on February 9, 1941 to Sylvester (Chet) and Mary Bayt where she grew up with two sisters, Nancy McCarthy and Susan Simons. She was married for 57 years to Wallace Blue where she cared for their three children Paula, Michael, and Patrick. She was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church. A showing will be held at Flanner Buchanan in Speedway at 4PM on Thursday April 29, a funeral mass on Friday April 30 at 11AM and inurnment at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown at 11AM on Saturday May 1. Ellen is survived by her husband Wallace, her three children Paula, Michael, and Patrick, her seven grandchildren Joshua, Jonathan, Justin, Jessica, Caleb, Morinda, and Alexander, her ten great-grandchildren…and two little dogs.
