Mary Elizabeth (Hodgson) Reever, 83, passed away surrounded by her extended family on April 5.
She was very much at peace and ready to reunite with her late husband Ron in God’s kingdom.
Mary was a devoted mother who remains in the loving memories of children Lori (Michael) Intlekofer, Ronald (Pamela) Reever, and Randall Reever, grandchildren Ryan, Stephen (Jessica), Trey and Reagan Howe, Natalie, Alex, Alyssa, Miranda and Xzavier Reever and two great grandchildren, Carson and Mariah Howe.
She was preceded in death by husband Charles Ronald Reever, daughter Victoria Lynn Prather and sons Jeffrey Lee and Charles William Reever. Mary is survived by her six Hodgson brothers – Richard (Kathy), Ralph (Theresa), William (Triesa), Michael (Susie), Stephen (Jennifer) and Charles Hodgson.
Mary was a devout Christian and was actively involved at Center Community Church, Plainfield and College Road Baptist Church in Ocala, FL where she and her husband had retired. With Ron’s passing she returned to Plainfield to be with her family.
Mary was always an active person and of a cheerful disposition. While primarily a wife, mother and homemaker, she enjoyed a working career as District Sales Manager for Avon Products and Receptionist for Indiana Secretary of States Sue Anne Gilroy and Todd Rokita. Among her memories with the Secretary of State’s office was certifying the people filing to run for a state office, and the heartwarming experience of assisting Indiana couples through the complicated process of adoption from overseas countries. She also enjoyed playing Bunco and Euchre.
Mary’s warm and giving personality will be greatly missed by her family and all those that were blessed to share their life with her.
