Mary E. Brown

Mary E. Brown, 88, of Indianapolis went to be with the Lord on December 4, 2021. She was born in Indianapolis on October 18, 1933 to the late Frank and Annetta Baker.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Melvin Brown Sr.; and her son, Timothy Brown.

Mary is survived by her children, Melvin Brown Jr. (Ronna), Barbara Bautch (Ron), James “Jim” Brown, Glenn Brown (Shellie), Daniel Brown (Barbara), and Steven Brown (Kathern); her siblings, Fred Baker and Rita Jones; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 6-9PM at Flanner Buchanan—Memorial Park, 9350 E Washington St. Additional visitation will be held the following day from 10-11AM, with a funeral service beginning at 11AM. Mary will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan’s Purse.
