Mary Demetriades

Mary Demetriades, 89, Indianapolis, passed away February 8, 2020. She was born October 23, 1930 in Martins Ferry, OH to Michael and Catherine Pappaemmanuel Demetriades. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Nick Demetriades, and nephew-in-law, Mark Pusey. Survivors include her nephews, Michael D. (Belinda) Demetriades and Chris Demetriades, niece, Cathy (Dan) McGuire, and sister-in-law, Joyce Demetriades, great-nephews, Spencer Davidson, Nick Demetriades, Clayton Pusey, and great-niece, Cayla Pusey. She enjoyed traveling and was a member of a ski club, as well as the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral Choir. Mary retired from the Jewish Federation as the executive assistant and worked prior to that at Blue Cross of Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Hooverwood Indianapolis Jewish Home, 7001 Hoover Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46260, hooverwood.org. Visitation will be held Friday February 14, 2020 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 3500 W 106th St, Carmel, IN 46032 from 10-12pm. Funeral services will begin there at 12pm. Arrangements entrusted to Flanner Buchanan-Broad Ripple.
