Mary C Vehorn

Mary Catherine VeHorn, 98, died August 27, 2019.  She was born November 25, 1920 in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She was the daughter of the late Paul J. Droste and Marie Conley.  She had been retired since 1979.  She had been employed by Carrico Furniture, Bridgeport Brass and Waste Services of Indiana.  She is survived by son, Dennis “Gregg” VeHorn; daughter-in-law, Dorothy; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; several great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by sons, Paul Edward “Eddie” and David Eugene “Gene” VeHorn.  Visitation will be Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 4 to 8 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Decatur Township.  Service will be Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 10 am at Flanner Buchanan-Decatur Township.  Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, Indiana.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution can be made to The National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snow, 442 S. De Mazenod Drive, Belleville, IL 62223-1023.
