Mary Ann Cecilia Siedelmann

84, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on April 17, 2021.  Mary Ann was born on May 20, 1936 in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late Folkert and Marie (Weis) Owen.  She was a graduate of Thorton Fractional High School, Lansing, Illinois.  Mary Ann was the volunteer librarian for St. Joseph School in Dyer when her children were going to school there.  She worked at Lake County Court House and volunteered as a CYO Coach for Girls Volleyball and Basketball.  She worked for Lake Central High School Corporation and then retired from more than 17 years of service with the Dyer Fire and Police Department as a dispatcher.  She volunteered at the White County Library and was a member of the Monticello Garden Club.  She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  She was preceded in death by daughter, Connie Wilson-Lee; brother, Allan Owen, sister-in-law Bethene Robinson, brother-in-law Edwin Siedelmann and her parents, Folkert and Marie Weis Owen.  She is survived by her husband, Dean Siedelmann; children, Barbara (Jon) Dahlstrom and Scott (Charlotte) Siedelmann; son-in-law, Steven Lee; grandchildren, Robert (Cory) Webb, Jennifer (Byron) Polanco, Kevin Dahlstrom, Christopher (Jennifer) Wilson, Douglas Siedelmann, Carolyn (Eddie) Verrett and Nathan Siedelmann and great-granddaughters, Cheyenne Webb, Lilly Siedelmann, Natalie Polanco, Molly Polanco, Baleigh Siedelmann, Cora Verrett and Lucy Wilson.  Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 10 am at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rileykids.org.  Arrangements handled by Flanner Buchanan-Decatur Township.
