Martin T. Russell

Martin T. Russell, age 77, was born in Junction City, Kentucky on June 16, 1940 to Martin L. and Birdie (Watts) Russell and went home to be with the Lord on February 14, 2018.

He served in the U.S. Army in the 12^th CID in Italy during the 1958-1962 period and retired from INB/NBD bank after 33 years. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Susan; his son, Martin T. Russell III (wife, Laura); grandsons, Grant T. and Colin E. Russell; brother, Finley L. Russell; and sisters, Melinda E. Stephens and Nancy M. Peedin; as well as many beloved cousins and other relatives. Martin, a member of Indian Creek Christian Church, served the church in many capacities over the years. He truly enjoyed hiking and railfaning (trains) as hobbies.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 2pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229. Interment at Washington Park East Cemetery will follow.
