Martha Lucille Gaalema

Martha Lucille Gaalema 89, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on January 10, 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Martha was born on August 16, 1931 in Westfield, Illinois to the late Benjamin and Maude Lewis. She retired from Allison Transmissions and was a member of Valley Mills Christian Church. Martha enjoyed dancing, dining with friends, boating, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Gaalema; daughter, Sandra L. Morris; son, Michael Gaalema; and sisters, Ferne Bennett and Mildred Lewis. She is survived by her sister, Rhea Inman; son-in-law, Ronald Morris; grandchildren, Rebecca Morris, Bryan (Kristin) Morris, Kristina (Dillon) Madden, Eric (Rachel) Morris; and six great grandchildren.
Family and friends will show their love and support at a private service on Friday, January 15th at Flanner Buchanan-Decatur Township. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
