Martha Anne Hanthorn

Martha Anne Hanthorn passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on October 7, 1964, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Vernice and Ray Hanthorn.

Martha received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Michigan, following in her father’s footsteps.

She then pursued an adventurous career in health care, residing in Los Angeles CA, Gaston OR, Seattle WA, Tampa FL and finally in Indianapolis IN. Her experiences were many, primarily focused on patient care. Her last position was as a clinical social worker at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa.

Martha is survived by three siblings, Sharen Rae, Sandy Pulaski (Jim) and Jeff Hanthorn (Sue), along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends including Deby Cort, Lisa Shore and Dave Samples.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date and her ashes will be spread in the Pacific Northwest, one of her favorite places.
